Offshoot Productions is an non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality theatre productions and arts education to Atlanta's Southside. Offshoot offers professional cast productions; acting classes for children, teens, and adults; year-round acting workshops and summer theatre camps; and numerous volunteer opportunities. Offshoot presents programs that offered an alternative to community theatre fare:  classics, new plays, cutting-edge drama and participation shows for children.  In addition, Offshoot is committed to affordable theatre, with low ticket prices and scholarships.

Without a home of its own, Offshoot has performed in schools, community centers, churches, a renovated train depot, restaurants, conference centers and elsewhere, indoors and outdoors.  The company also provides entertainment for conferences and community celebrations as well as fundraising events for other nonprofits, such as Promise Place (formerly, the Council on Domestic Violence) and the Fayette Family YMCA.
